Kelley Blue Book provides car owners and buyers with industry values and guidance.  After clicking “What’s my Car’s Value”, users are taken the pages you see here. This hub allows users to compare values and decide what option best suits their needs.

Goal

Deliver comprehensive, concise, and helpful communication that simplifies the decision-making process of selling, trading, redeeming a KBB cash-value voucher, and donating a vehicle.

Role

UX Writer

Team

UX Designer, Product Manager, Developer

Process
As the lead UX Writer, I worked closely with UX Research to address questions like “what sorts of things do people consider when deciding to sell, trade, or donate your car?” and “what role do people see KBB playing in that process?”. Throughout the lifecycle of the project, I drafted sample copy for every wireframe and fine-tuned the messaging once we began prototyping the experience.
